Birmingham New Street

Birmingham New Street is about to get newer. It was designed in the 1960s for 60,000 passengers a day. There are twice that number today. A concourse 3.5 times larger than the current one is just part of the striking new design. Not that its impact stops there – the redevelopment will help Birmingham city centre and create over 10,000 jobs. Its delivery date is 2014, by which time the investment will total £600m.
