Recording of Telephone Conversations

Telephone calls to various Network Rail locations, which control the running of trains and the electrical equipment on the railway line, are routinely recorded for the purposes of staff training and to assist with investigations into any incident. This may apply to (and is not limited to) calls made from telephones provided by Network Rail for public use at stations, level crossings and bridges.

Competition terms and conditions

  1. To enter the prize draw, all details on the entry form must be registered
  2. No purchase is necessary for entry
  3. Opening date: 26.09.07 and closes 31.01.08
  4. A winner will be chosen at random from all possible winners on 31 January 2008
  5. Open to all UK residents aged 18 years and over
  6. Network Rail staff are not eligible to enter
  7. No cash alternative will be offered
  8. The winner will be notified by email no later than midnight on 1 February 2008
  9. The prize is one Nintendo Wii
  10. The prize is non-transferable. If the prize is not claimed within seven days of notification, an alternative winner will be chosen at random
  11. The promoter’s decision is final
